I am using TradeStation and have not found the symbol's needed to track the S&P, Nasdaq futures realtime during the day. Does anyone know what the symbols are? Is there a datafeed that is required to access?

Yeah. You need to open a Quotesscreen, then select INSERT / Symbol List from the menu. Select:
-TradeStation Symbol List
--Indexes
---Popular Indexes
----S&P Indexes
That'll get you the various S&Ps. You can mess around in that list for other index symbols as well.

Thanks for the pointer Atticus, however those are index's. I was looking for futures for nasdaq and s&p. For instance SPZ07 is the S&P 500 futures that trade overnight. SPZ07.P is the S&P 500 futures that trade in the Pit during the day.

I was under the impression that there was also a Nasdaq future. And I am not sure the Pit traded futures are the corrct futures to be watching during the day.

I have seen in the Day Trading Course work the S&P and Nasdaq futures mentioned.

Dwight the PIT trader futures are the ones to watch during day. I have taken the E-Mini's course and D.R. specifically talked about this. To learn more about the futures symbols in trade station go to
